Vancouver Olympics 2010

Dad, Mom, Lisa, my friend, and I went to downtown Vancouver on Monday to see all of the Olympic sights. We took the sky train into Vancouver, which was a lot of fun! We went to Robson Square, BC place, Lonsdale Quae, the Vancouver airport, and saw the Olympic flame. Even then we didn't get to see everything. At Lonsdale Quae, a reporter took our photo and it is in the North Shore News paper! When we returned to Robson Square at night, we saw protesters that were demonstrating against the war in Afganistan.
The Vancouver Art Museum. It's free during the Olympics, but we didn't get to go inside while we were in Vancouver because there was a long line!

Japanese Olympic speed skaters

My Mom, Grandma and I were able to go and watch the Japanese Olympic speed skaters practice today. It was in Abbotsford (just across the border from Sumas) at the rec. center there. It was really cool to watch the practice!
They were going so fast!
